Each week we host a small business meet up that is open to anyone who would like to attend. The goal is to help entrepreneurs raise awareness of their business, enhance their knowledge, share ideas and offer people an opportunity to be part of a supportive community.
The 1 Million Cups Metro Detroit chapter provides the forum for business owners and organizations to present their business to a diverse audience of economic development professionals, mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Presenters share a 5-10 minute informative presentation about their business, tell us about some challenges they want to overcome and then the audience helps identify ways to resolve the challenges.
Entrepreneurs gain insight into ways they can improve their businesses, gather real time feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business. Our weekly meet ups are for the audience too. It’s a great environment to meet liked minded individuals in a supportive environment. We also learn from the presentations and can apply the lessons/solutions discussed each in ways to better our own businesses. Join us to get engage with a dynamic and diverse group of people in the small business community.
